Packed with talks and expert coaching sessions across the three main stages and more than 170 exhibitors, there’s also plenty of interactive features for you and your family to enjoy. Sailing and watersports can lead to a life-long passion and at the RYA Dinghy and Watersports Show, there’s something to inspire everyone.
Bring out your competitive side and race model boats against your friends at the activity pool! Back by popular demand, you can challenge your friends to a race round the course using the remote-controlled dinghies. Who knows, you could end up racing an Olympic sailor!
Don’t miss out on perfecting your trapezing technique. Get a taste of the trapeze by practicing your tacks as you move across the rig with instructors to guide you through.
Visit stand R40 to try windsurfing on the windsurfing simulator and find out more about the iQFoil and Techno classes. Or head to the Interactive Zone to try the winging simulator or race against a friend on the dinghy simulator.
Discover a sea of virtual reality by popping on the VR goggles! Experience the thrill of foiling, dinghy sailing and windsurfing, or discover how the RYA SafeTrx app is taking the search out of search and rescue.
There’s plenty to keep even the youngest visitors entertained throughout the weekend. As well as a whole host of interactive features and the ever-popular Treasure Hunt, you’ll also find colouring competitions, name the parts of the boat and more in the kid's area.
Our Treasure Hunt will have your little ones on the lookout for their favourite marine wildlife as you explore the exhibitor stands. Simply collect your treasure map on arrival and navigate around the show, collecting clues, stickers and treasure along the way.
Collect 10 or more and enter the exclusive prize draw held at the end of the day on the Main Stage (16:30 Saturday, 16:00 Sunday). With a range of superb prizes up for grabs from brands like RS and Rooster, you could even walk away with a 5-day Youth Residential Week at Rockley Watersports. You must be present at the prize draw to win, don’t miss out!
Come along to the boat repair workshops with Pete Vincent from West Country Boat Repairs (stand R42). As well as demonstrations on basic boat repair techniques, Pete will be on hand all weekend sharing his expertise about GRP boat repairs for novices, hints on general maintenance and how to avoid unnecessary repairs.
As always, there are plenty of boating and watersports bargains to be found across the show. And with more than 170 exhibitors this year, there’s more choice than ever before! From browsing boats and boards, to information and advice, sailing and watersports equipment, clothing and much more!
Water-based adventures are always best shared, so why not take a break to catch up with friends, exchange new-found knowledge and compare your bargain finds over a drink at The Rockley Clubhouse? You’ll find it right at the heart of the show.
As well as The Rockley Clubhouse there are a range of food and drink concessions around the show. This year you can choose from the fish and chip bus, Greek bakery, coffee and doughnut stall, and much more.
