Linking your MyRYA account

 

Linking your MyRYA account to your RYA membership/reference number enables you to access certain areas of the site which are restricted to groups such as members, qualification holders or representatives of clubs or training centres.

First, check whether your account is already linked. If it is, you won’t be able to link it again.

How to check if your account is linked to your RYA number

There are a number of ways you can check this:

  • If you are a member, go to MyRYA. You should see your membership number there.
  • If you are an RYA instructor or higher, browse the Training Support Site at www.rya.org.uk/club-centre-support/training where you should have access to most of the pages, including the RGN sections A to D.
  • If you are a Principal, Chief Instructor, Primary Contact or Certificate Administrator of an RYA Recognised Training Centre, go to the ‘Training Centre Account’ section of MyRYA. You should be able to view the details under the ‘Your Training Centre’ heading.

If your account is not linked, sign in and go to MyRYA.

Select ‘Link your profile’ and enter your RYA reference number and date of birth. Then select 'Find my details'.

 

Enter RYA ref number and date of birth. 

Please note that the website refreshes every 4 hours. So, if you don’t have access to the areas you require straight away, please try again later. If after 4 hours you still don’t have access to those areas please email training.support@rya.org.uk with specific details of what you are trying to access, along with any error messages and which email address you are using to sign in.

If you see a message saying that your email address is already linked to a different email address:

If you are not aware of an existing account using that email address please email training.support@rya.org.uk with your RYA membership/reference number and the email address that you used when trying to register your account.
