Starting in August 2025, this 0.65 FTE post is to teach Maritime Skills subjects to school pupils in Dunoon Grammar School during the school academic year and RYA / and SQA qualifications to our short full-time students in Dunoon and Oban. Some teaching will also take place on the college RHIB at the Holy Loch Marina and in Oban Bay.
Experience of teaching would be advantageous, but not essential, as all training will be provided.
For teaching the RYA short full-time courses, you will need to be qualified or willing to work towards instructor qualifications in:
