Meet Jazz

Jazz is a competitive sailor.

Jazz loves racing, always has.

It's physically and mentally challenging, she gets to know lots of people as she goes around events, and it's a level playing field as she competes against disabled and non disabled people. She hasn't found another sport like sailing

It keeps her fit, it's something to look forward to at the end of the week, it makes her feel better. She is the one in control on the water, where as on land she is always dictated to by her wheelchair, by the surface of the pavement or stairs.

Sailing has slowly built Jazz's confidence. It's #MoreThanSailing.

Sailing means the world to me, it gives me a freedom I wouldn't otherwise get

I get friends, I get a place where I can just be me
