Our club race management course is an online, interactive, e-learning course designed to help give those who are new to race management the confidence to set courses, and to start and finish races. We encourage clubs to make use of this FREE resource by promoting it to their volunteers who may be undertaking race management duties for the first time or are in need of a refresher.
This course can be supplemented by bespoke training sessions tailored to your clubs needs which can be delivered by our regional race management coordinators.
Our bespoke club courses are delivered by our race management coordinators or rules advisors.
There are a number of one day or shorter club courses that are run to train race officials and other volunteers, however our rules advisors and race management coordinators will be more than happy to directly discuss with RYA affiliated clubs and classes their specific needs and to tailor what they deliver accordingly.
For courses delivered to RYA affiliated clubs and class associations the RYA will cover the cost of the instructors fee. The affiliated club or class association is expected to cover the cost of the instructors travel expenses up to a maximum of £80 with the RYA covering anything in excess of that.
