Cavan's journey began at the age of 8 in the Optimist class, and he has since honed his skills in various boats such as the 420's and ILCA. During the early days of the pandemic, when sailing clubs were closed, Cavan turned to virtual regatta as a means to continue pursuing his sailing passion.
